Pueblo Police Confirm Homicide-Suicide Case
On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at approximately 9:18 a.m., Pueblo Police Officers were dispatched to an address located in the 3300 block of Alturas Drive.
When officers arrived, they located a deceased female and male suffering from a gunshot wound. The male was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. This incident is being investigated as a homicide-suicide.
The Pueblo County Coroner’s Office will release the identities of the deceased individuals.
This marks the city’s sixth homicide in 2026. There were four homicides year-to-date in 2025.
