Willow Fire Update: 1,919 Acres, 0% Contained Near Leadville Fish Hatchery


Description: June 30 Willow Fire update: 1,919 acres, 0% contained northwest of Leadville Fish Hatchery, with 90 personnel assigned and evacuations still in place.

Cause: Under Investigation

After an overnight flight, the acreage of the Willow Fire has been updated to 1919 acres. This increase in acreage was primarily the growth that was seen late yesterday afternoon. A Complex Incident Management Team, Southwest Area Incident Management Team 4, will take command of the Willow Fire at 7am this morning. The Incident Management Team will be working along with local agency managers and resources to continue management of this fire.
