Aspen Acres Fire Resource Information for Fremont County: Shelter, Donations, Pre-Evacuation Areas and Emergency Alerts

ASPEN ACRES FIRE RESOURCE INFORMATION FOR FREMONT COUNTY

We've put together the information below to help residents quickly find important resources and answers to common questions.
 
Need a place to go if you're evacuated?
 
Pathfinder Park - 6655 State Highway 115, Florence
 
This location is available for both people and animals.
 
Donations for first responders - Donations are being accepted Monday–Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at: Fremont County Office of Emergency Management - 1901 E. Main Street, Canon City. Questions? Contact the Emergency Operations Center at 719-276-7421 for Fremont County Questions only. For Custer and Pueblo Counties please call 719-583-4640.
 
Current Pre-Evacuation Status
 
There are no changes to the current pre-evacuation areas, which include:
• Fremont County Roads 15, 103, and 100
• Newlin Ridge Road
• Los Pinos Subdivision
• Locke Mountain Estates
• The Towns of Coal Creek and Rockvale
 
An interactive map of the pre-evacuation areas is available. We have received feedback that it is easiest to view on a computer. The link for the interactive map will be added in the comments of this post.
 
Notification updates - Sign up for emergency notifications for both Fremont and Custer Counties to receive important alerts and updates via everbridge. A link to the website will be added to the comments.
 
RV & Camper Parking - Self-sustaining RVs and campers may park at: Solid Rock Christian Fellowship - 4501 Bearpaw Road, Florence.
Please note that while we have seen offers from other RV parks throughout Fremont County, those offers have not been verified.
