Rocky Ford CO-OP Collecting Aspen Acres / Beulah Fire Donations Through July

Description: Rocky Ford CO-OP is collecting donations for Aspen Acres and Beulah Fire firefighters and victims through July, including water containers, cleanup tools, medical supplies, masks, gloves, food, and drinks.

We have an update on items needed:

ASPEN ACRES / BEULAH FIRE DONATIONS: ROCKY FORD CO-OP at 101 S 2nd St in Rocky Ford will be collecting through July, donations for the firefighters and victims of the Aspen Acre fire in Beulah.

The donations can be dropped off at the CO-OP. We are open from 8am to 5pm M-F and 8 to Noon on Sat. Tan stucco building next to the railroad tracks on 2nd Street.

What is needed: Some items that are really needed are Reliance BPA Free Aqua-Tainers 7 Gallon Water Containers, since the residents will have to be hauling water up to their places while cleaning up until all wells are tested and cleared. Wal-Mart has them for $19.99. Tyveck Suits - 3 Layer SMS Coveralls Shovels, Rakes, Wheelbarrows, 4 Wheel Garden Carts, Pitchforks, Etc. Any Tools for Clean Up. Replacement Handles For Shovels, Rakes, Etc.

Other Items Needed: Any Medical Supplies(Bandaids, antibiotic ointment, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, bandages, etc.) Nasal Saline Mist, NeilMed Sinus Rinse Kits Leather Gloves, Nitrile Gloves N95 Masks, Dust Masks Wet Wipes & Washcloth Size Wet Wipes From Sams Flashlights, Batteries - All Sizes Buckets for cleaning, 5 Gallon Buckets, Plastic Storage Bins Hand Soap, Hand Sanitizer, Dish Soap, Scrub Brushes, TSP Cleaner and any other cleaning supplies.
