JUVENILE ARRESTED IN AVONDALE AREA SHOOTING
Pueblo County Sheriff’s detectives arrested a 16-year-old male in connection with the shooting of a 35-year-old man Friday afternoon at a home on the 3900 block of Harbour Rd in Avondale.
Deputies responded to a local hospital on a reported shooting after the victim was dropped off at the hospital by private vehicle. The victim had multiple gunshot wounds. He has been released from the hospital.
Detectives learned the shooting had occurred at a residence on Harbour Road following an incident between the suspect and the victim.
Upon further investigation, deputies arrested the juvenile male for criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and possession of a firearm by a juvenile. He was booked in the Pueblo Youth Services Center.
